Before you head out of the FBO door in Chattanooga, TN (KCHA), A crew member mentioned that if you were into " Inlcine Railway - If you have the day, ride the incline to the top of Lookout Mountain. " Before you decide what to do in Abbeville, LA (0R3), A Bored Pilot has posted that if it crossed your mind about somthing else, it isn't completely void " " Tabasco Factory! Good tour, great gift show with lots of taste tests. " Before you make your plans in Gulfport, MS (KGPT), 5 out of 3 pilots here agreed about before, "bring a good aviation magazine, there are no current acitivies..." since it may not have been much before. But now you can know what another has said " " there are casino's to visit, the beach, and a hooters that has some top notch ladies. Good new! A bored pilot kept from falling a sleep in KGGE- "Georgetown County" Georgetown, SC... KGON- "Groton-new London" Groton, CT... Before you make your plans in Georgetown, SC (KGGE), the pilots union voted and you should know about filling your craving for some food " There are several great little cafes and restaraunts in town on a street called Front Street. Check out the River Room and Thomas Cafe adn you will not leave disappointed. " While making your plans in Groton, CT (KGON), 5 out of 3 pilots here agreed about somthing else, it isn't completely void " " Mystic CT just a few minutes away. Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, Voyager cruises 2 hour schooner sailings, Numerous fishing charter guides, Daniel Packer Inn, Anthony J's, Margarita's, Azu and many other bars and taverns all good for food and drinks, and many with live music at night. Good waterfront food in Noank Villiage at Abbott's Lobster, and Costello's clam shack. Open air food right on the Mystic River. Shopping at Old Mystic Village up near the auqarium near I-95, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casino's only about 30 min away. Mystic full service Marriott just a few miles north and is a top level Marriott hotel and spa.
